Cole's gonna have some awesome gadgets by the time he's in high school. Next thing you know, he's gonna wanna borrow the keys to my full sized repulsor lift Imperial Speeder Bike (forest scene - Return of the Jedi)! However... being the concerned father that I am... I would insist that he take the Imperial AT-AT Walker (all terrain armored transport) instead since they're much safer!

My nephew the Jedi Master
This comment cracked me up.
My nephew was also amazed by the hologram technology of CNN.
Apparently, he is a Star Wars historian highly trained in the Jedi philosophy and way of life. He is a Jedi Master assigned to monitor the activities in Seattle, WA. He resides in the state of Washington with his lovely wife and 1-year-old Padawan (Jedi learner) who is also a future model for a major clothing company.
His comment:

Did you say DORK? Well, he's the coolest and funniest dork I know...he's a fellow DORK... and he's my nephew. We're both Jedi masters.

You know what's funny? Last weekend I took Cole shopping for a new toy and was so tempted to buy him a full sized light saber replica! I seriously spent an hour walking up and down the Star Wars isle, contemplating on weather or not I should get him the saber, or the Skywalker/Yoda action figures! I had to call up my sister for advice. That's when she asked, "are you buying it for Cole...or for YOURSELF?!" She was right. So instead, I bought him an alphabet toy (educational AND age appropriate).
I'll wait until he turns 2 and then, "IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!" I'm talkin' action figures, Darth Vader helmet with built in deviated septum, light sabers, X-Wing replicas, and full blown/fully dressed star wars conventions!!
Isn't it amazing how one film, made over 30 years ago, can influence so many people from so many walks of life? I mean, the 1st Star Wars (technically the 4th) came out, what, 1977? I wasn't even born then! Yet I still know and love it. There's only a few things that I can recall from waaaay back: Michael Jackson (the black version, not the white version), The Police (the band, not the law enforcers), the RV dad rented when you all came down to visit us in Lemoore, and of course Star Wars!
